Facts About SISTAR (씨스타)

SISTAR (Hangul: 씨스타, often stylized as SISTAR) is a four-member South Korean girl group under the management of Starship Entertainment. Their name, chosen by their company, is a combination of the words Sister and Star. Meaning that they aim to be the sisters in the entertainment business and become big stars. SISTAR first revealed themselves through a photoshoot for the magazine Céci for the clothing company FUBU on March 19, 2010. On June 3, they released their debut single Push Push and made their official debut performance on June 4 on Music Bank.

-Was very weak as an infant. On Strong Hear, revealed that she had biliary atresia and though the surgery had low chances of sustaining life, she was able to survive the ten hours long surgery.

-A year later, however, she was diagnosed with intussusception and received surgery for enterectomy.

-Dreamt of becoming a ballerina but couldn't because her family couldn't pay for it.

-She is a huge fan of Song Joong Ki. He's also her ideal type.
