G-Dragon reveals “I am good when it comes to dating” and other tidbits

VIPs were finally able to catch ‘Thank You‘ on the 15th and were surprised upon hearing some of the things G-Dragon revealed.

Although many would assume G-Dragon has been with his agency YG Entertainment for most of his childhood, he revealed that wasn’t the case sharing, “I first entered SM Entertainment and trained there for five years and then moved to YG Entertainment.”

G-Dragon also opened up about how Yang Hyun Suk trained him, “He made me write and compose a song each week. That was when I was in my 3rd year of high school and now six years have passed. At first, I didn’t know how and where to start. But after getting used to it for one year I wrote lyrics naturally as if I was eating meals”, explaining how he became the successful songwriter he is today.

G-Dragon also expressed his confidence in the dating field sharing, “I am good when it comes to dating”, making fan girls wish he was their boyfriend.

G-Dragon to endorse makeup brand ‘The Saem’ alongside IU

Big Bang‘s G-Dragon has been picked up as the latest endorsement model for The Saem. He’ll be promoting the makeup brand alongside singer IU, who became its exclusive model last year.

The Saem stated, “As we felt G-Dragon would best express our 2013 campaign ‘Global Echo The Saem’, we’ve chosen him as the ‘Global Echo Star’. G-Dragon was chosen as the most beautiful face to represent the free-spirited, happy, colorful aspects of nature.”

G-Dragon has already begun shooting commercials, starting his official promotions for the brand this past February 4th. He also tweeted the photo below from the commercial shoot to give fans a better look at the concept.

The advertisements featuring G-Dragon will be revealed starting in March.

On January 29th, G-Dragon posted the above pictures on his instagram with the caption, “Master of pole dancing.”

The shared pictures show G-Dragon and Taeyang having a fun night out with their friends. Their fans were pleasantly surprised to see the second picture, which revealed Taeyang showing off his dance moves on a pole.

Big Bang’s T.O.P wraps up filming for his movie ‘Alumni’

Big Bang‘s T.O.P has wrapped up the filming for his movie ‘Alumni‘.

The climax between five actors in the movie was filmed on January 21st in Yong-In, Gyeonggido. It was an important scene where T.O.P tried to protect his little sister and his friend. He had to show his wide range of acting abilities as he had to take care of both the action and emotions in the scene. At the end of the filming, the main actors blew out candles on a cake to celebrate the end of the filming.

T.O.P said, “Everyone worked hard for a long time. I’m happy it ended well. I was happy while I was a part of this ‘Alumni’ project“. Han Ye Ri commented, “All the actors and staff worked so hard“. Yoon Je Moon commented, “I had fun filming with young actors, the young staff in a fun and youthful environment“. Jo Sung Ha added, “I had fun filming with the hoobae actors. I hope the audience has fun watching the movie.” Kim Yoo Jung expressed her disappointment that the filming was over, and said, “I wish I can act with these people again.”

‘Alumni’ will be released in the Fall of 2013.

Big Bang to release ‘Alive Tour In Seoul’ concert DVD

YG Entertainment has announced that Big Bang, who recently toured across 12 countries and 24 cities for their highly successful ‘Big Bang Alive Tour 2012‘, are releasing a DVD of their ‘Alive Tour In Seoul‘ concert held in March of 2012.

The ‘Big Bang Alive Tour’ made stops in the United States, Europe, and Asia and set incredible ticket sale records in every continent visited, confirming Big Bang’s global popularity.

The concert DVD features two segment with the first part featuring the live sessions and remixes of Big Bang’s hit songs, 23 tracks in total, and the second part featuring behind-the-scenes footage of the concert, which includes a making-of film clip and multi-angle of the “Bad Boy” encore.

Big Bang will finally be concluding their successful tour with their encore finale ‘Big Bang Alive Galaxy Tour In Seoul the Finale‘ from the 25th-27th at the Seoul Olympics Gymnastics Arena.

The concert DVDs will also be sold at the final concert series ahead of its official release on the 29th. Pre-orders for the concert DVD have already begun on the 22nd.

Big Bang concludes the overseas portion of their world tour in Osaka, Japan

Big Bang finally brought down the curtains on the overseas portion of their globe-trotting world tour, ‘ALIVE Galaxy Tour 2012‘.

The group held their final overseas performance in Osaka, Japan from January 12-13 at the Kyocera Dome, where they performed for a total of approximately 100,000 VIPs.

During the concert, Big Bang even revealed their upcoming plans for 2013, further heightening fans’ anticipation. G-Dragon announced that he’ll be holding a 3 Dome tour in Japan and will also be revealing a new song. Taeyang delighted fans by stating that he’s currently working on his new solo album, whereas T.O.P shared that filming for his film ‘Alumni‘ is 90% complete. On the other hand, Daesung plans to hold a solo concert and release a solo album in Japan, while Seungri plans to continue his solo activities in Japan and appear in local dramas.

Through this world tour, Big Bang became the first Korean singer to attract a total of 800,000 fans and continued to sell out tickets for their concert wherever they went. The group has also traveled a total of 144,689km for their trip through the Americas, Europe, and Asia, which equals to a flying distance of circling the earth three and a half times.

Big Bang will hold the finale to their world tour in Seoul from January 25-27 at the Olympic Gymnastics Stadium in Seoul.

After their initial press release regarding G-Dragon’s 3 Dome tour in Japan, YG Entertainment has sent out an update with good news for fans around the globe!

Not only will G-Dragon‘s tour encompass the 3 Dome tour in Japan, it will also be making stops in other parts of the world!

The tour, ‘2013 G-Dragon World Tour‘, will kick off in Seoul on March 30th through the 31st, ahead of the April dates in Japan.

According to the poster included in the update, more cities will be added on later dates as they are confirmed! So stay tuned to see where else G-Dragon may be heading to!

New photos bring back rumors about G-Dragon being in a relationship with Japanese model Mizuhara Kiko

Well, it’s the day of rumors and scandals it seems, for now G-Dragon is in the midst of old rumors that have once again surfaced with the reveal of an unseen photo and alleged eye witness accounts.

Since years ago, G-Dragon was rumored to be in a relationship with Japanese model and actress Mizuhara Kiko. The rumors surfaced again earlier this past year in July with several photos that were revealed, and now the rumors are back again in 2013, flooding domestic media outlets.

This all started as a photo has been spreading online showing three figures huddled together, two of which are thought to be G-Dragon and Mizuhara Kiko

G-Dragon previously tweeted a picture on Christmas of the scenery that matched up with this new picture floating around, and with the hairstyle of one of the individuals spotted in the photo, many suspected that is indeed G-Dragon.

The third individual in the photo is presumed to be G-Dragon’s friend Harry Kim, who is said to have uploaded a photo of a hotel in Phuket on his instagram.

In addition, some fans overseas have insisted that they witnesses Mizuhara Kiko boarding a plane to Sri Panwa resort in Phuket, Thailand.

G-Dragon‘s various hairstyles have been receiving attention due to the similarities to the characters of the popular Japanese anime series, ‘Naruto‘.

A photo collage was recently uploaded onto an online community site under the title, “G-Dragon’s Naruto style”, and features his unique hairstyle changes since his debut including his infamous ‘seaweed hair’ and ‘bowl cut’ hairstyles. The photos fascinated netizens with the similarities between the hairstyles, facial expressions, and accessories of G-Dragon and the ‘Naruto’ characters.

His pink hairstyle was compared to the character Sakura, the bowl haircut compared to Rock Lee, up-do compared to Shikamaru, the long blonde bang to the side compared to Ino, the blonde spikes were compared to Naruto, the bowl haircut with side bangs were compared to Hinata, the spiky hair to the side compared to Kakashi, and his red devil horns from “Monster” was compared to Garaa.

Big Bang attracts 50,000 to their Fukuoka Dome concert

Big Bang has captivated 50,000 fans at their Fukuoka concert!

On December 22nd, the boys performed at the FUKUOKA Yahoo! Japan Dome for their world tour, ‘Big Bang Alive Tour 2012 in Japan Final in Dome‘, which was attended by 50,000 fans. The dome tour was in response to the millions of requests made by fans that had missed their world tour earlier this year.

Big Bang performed hit tracks like “Lies“, “Tonight“, and “Fantastic Baby” in addition to their original Japanese releases like “Koe wo Kikasete” and “Feeling“. For their encore, the members came out dressed in Santa outfits and danced the world famous ‘horse dance’ from Psy‘s “Gangnam Style“.

Thus far, the tour has managed to garner a grand total of 800,000 fans and counting, since the tour in Japan will continue through January 12th and 13th at the Osaka Kyocera Dome before finally holding its grand finale in Seoul on the 25th through 27th.
