It was revealed through a Japanese CF that there was a Japanese Version of f(x)'s 2011 hit, Hot Summer. recorded. This lead netizens to believe that f(x)'s Japanese Debut song would be a Japanese Version of Hot Summer. Their Japanese Website was updated with PV screenshots concept photos. f(x) released their Japanese debut single digitally on August 1, 2012. A short version of the song was post on axexnetwork's channel on YouTube. The full PV was released on August 4, 2012. The physical release of the single has yet to be revealed.
