[News] Kim Jaejoong JYJ Akan Merilis Repackage Album Dari 'I'

Setelah menikmati kesuksesan dari mini album solo pertamanya 'I', Kim Jaejoong akan merilis kemasan ulang dari album terdahulunya itu.

Kesuksesan album debut solonya juga terlihat jelas dengan terjual laris di berbagai Negara di Asia, dan single "Mine" yang terdapat pada album tersebut telah pernah menjadi no #1 pada chart musik real time pada saat peluncuran video musiknya tanggal 16 Januari, begitu juga dengan album 'I' yang pernah berada pada peringkat #1 di berbagai chart realtime, chart harian dan chart mingguan.

CJeS Entertainment mengumumkan pada 7 Februari bahwa Jaejoong akan merilis kemasan ulang dari album solo pertamanya 'I'. Jaejoong reveals he wants to perform in Japan

Jaejoong revealed what he wanted to do in Japan now that JYJ had won their lawsuit against Avex.

He said, “I want to first perform in Japan. If we can get freedom for distribution, I want to officially put out a Japanese album in Japan. If we become free as the results of the case dictate, we can go on broadcasts, too. I hope everything like that works out.”

When asked if he hadn’t forgotten his Japanese because he hadn’t used it in a while, he replied, “People don’t know, but I’ve been using a lot of Japanese“. He added, “Everyone except Junsu is okay. Junsu’s Japanese went down to the level of about a 2.5 year old. It’s because he hasn’t used it, really!“.

JYJ’s Yoochun assures fans he didn’t shave his head for the military

JYJ‘s Yoochun scared fans with his latest hairstyle. After shaving his head, Yoochun had to assure many of his fans that he did not do it because he is planning to enlist in his mandatory military service anytime soon.

C-JeS releases details regarding JYJ’s lawsuit victory over Avex + Avex announces its intentions to appeal

After the initial announcement regarding JYJ‘s win against Avex, C-JeS Entertainment has revealed details regarding the ruling received.

According to C-JeS, the Japanese court ruled that Avex cannot insist on JYJ’s sole management in Japan, and ordered the management company to pay JYJ’s agency C-JeS Entertainment 660 million Yen (~ 7.3 million USD). The court also acknowledged the fact that Avex has defamed C-JeS’s CEO, and as such, ruled that they also pay the CEO 1 million Yen (~ 11,000 USD).

To recap, JYJ and Avex suspended their exclusive contract back in 2010 and as the conflict of promoting in Japan escalated between them, Avex had released a public notice that falsely claimed that C-JeS’s CEO was affiliated with gangsters and brought about the halt of promotions in Japan for the group. They also insisted that they had sole management over JYJ’s Japanese activities and interfered with the group’s attempt to put on a charity concert back in 2011, which led to the lawsuit.

In response to the ruling received in court today (18th), Avex has already made it clear through an announcement on their homepage that they cannot accept the decision and that they will be filing an appeal.

JYJ wins lawsuit against Japanese management Avex

Following their settlement with SM Entertainment last year, JYJ seems to have rid themselves of another lawsuit by claiming victory against their former Japanese management, Avex.

C-JeS Entertainment confirmed the news by commenting, “During the trial in Japan on the 18th, it was ruled that Avex cannot interfere with the Japanese promotional activities of JYJ.”

They added, “Once the exact decision documents arrive, we will send out a press release.”

The group has been battling Avex since 2011 on the basis of interfering with the group’s attempt to put on a charity concert for the Tohoku earthquake.

With this ruling, it seems that JYJ may be able to start promoting in Japan again.

JYJ‘s Yoochun held a successful press conference in China, which drew over 100 media outlets.

C-JeS Entertainment revealed, “As Yoochun’s popularity in China increased, we were flooded with interview requests. To return the favor for his rising popularity, we decided to hold an official press conference in front of influential media outlets in China’s capital, Beijing.”

Jaejoong to pre-release “One Kiss” ahead of solo mini album ‘Mine’

JYJ‘s Jaejoong is almost ready to drop his first solo mini album, which will be called ‘Mine‘, but with eager fans desperately awaiting a taste of what’s to come, he will be unveiling a special treat!

The singer will be pre-releasing a track titled “One Kiss” off his upcoming album, on January 8th!

C-Jes Entertainment revealed the good news, stating, “Kim Jaejoong’s album title track is “Mine”, a rock genre song with a strong sound, which has been worked on with Kim Bada. A large-scale music video has also been produced to match with the lyrics. He’ll be pre-releasing “One Kiss” during the afternoon on the 8th. As a song showcasing Jaejoong’s unique emotional yet husky voice, it’ll be a sophisticated song that matches well with this cold winter season.”

They added, “After releasing the pre-release track on the 8th ahead of the January 17th release date of the album, the music video for ‘Mine’, its making-of footage, and teaser videos will be released in the following week.”

The album will also start its pre-sale on January 7th as well as the ticket sales for Jaejoong’s concert ‘Your, My and Mine‘ that will be held on January 26th and 27th.
